We pride ourselves in ensuring the voices of young people being the driver to how we shape and develop our services. With this we have embedded consultation sessions into every half term and capture live feedback through the use of 'The Shed' during sessions. In keeping with our aim for our members to take ownership of their provision we have worked with our young leaders to create feedback and suggestion forms that are used to focus on each young person and their experience with us. Our mentoring offer sees us provide one to one support to support the social, emotional and mental health needs of local young people through a bespoke offer that sets goals that are individual to each young person that accesses the service. To ensure this is as accessible as possible this service is available during sessions or at agreed times that meet the needs of the young person as well as a virtual service for young people that may struggle to attend the building. Flyby is an advice and guidance service where young people can book in one to one appointments to get support in a variety of areas including employment, housing, education and benefits advice. Running from 12pm – 4pm every Monday and Friday you can book an hour slot to ensure you get the dedicated time to be supported with whatever your support needs are. Read more
Collective Notes is a weekly session that is aimed at young people that have a passion for music but may not have the confidence to stand up in a room full of people to perform. This 8 week programme sees the young people explore different music styles, take a lyrics masterclass and have the opportunity to record a piece of music that they have made or cover one of their favourite songs.
